Upcoming Event
This project, to be implemented by Northeast Women In Tech (NEWIT), aims to empower 50 young women aged 16-28 residing in the Malkohi and Segere Dutse Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Adamawa State, Nigeria, through a one-week digital literacy training program for each camp. The project addresses the critical need for digital inclusion and economic empowerment among vulnerable IDP populations, particularly women who face exacerbated challenges due to the Boko Haram insurgency. By providing foundational training on the basics of digital literacy, the project seeks to introduce participants to essential digital skills, productivity tools, and opportunities online.
